flussplan e.U. is project partner in the ERDF K-Regio funded research project "Buoyant Energy Quarters". The project investigates large floating structures that generate and store electricity from volatile renewable energy sources by means of patented Buoyant Energy technology at the sea or in inland waters and can be used for infrastructural purposes at the same time - for example for living and working, for culture, leisure or municipal purposes.

The Tumpen-Habichen power plant uses the downward gradient of the Ötztaler Ache between Tumpen and Habichen.

The execution of a hydropower plant including a doping power plant, desander plant and fish ladder was carried out in the execution planning. With an annual work potential of 63 gigawatt hours, up to 15,000 households are supplied with clean electricity. The 3D planning of the plant was carried out with Autodesk Revit in BIM ready implementation.
